About Mario Montag
I immigrated from Peru to Miami at 14 and have worked full-time since. After graduating from UF, I spent 13 years in consulting at PwC, Hitachi, and McKinsey, leading Oracle ERP implementations before taking the leap to entrepreneurship.In 2013, I founded Predikto, a predictive maintenance software company that used machine learning to predict failures in trains, planes, and industrial assets. We built one of the first AutoML cloud-based platforms and sold the company to UTC (now Raytheon) in 2018. After the acquisition, I led Turntide\'s building automation business unit until its acquisition by BrainBox AI in 2024.Today, I\'m the CEO and Co-Founder of Peach Pilot. There are 6 billion people who use a computer for work every day, but AI tools have largely been built for the 50 million engineers who can code. We\'re changing that — making advanced AI accessible to everyone in an organization, not just the technical teams.I\'m also a Partner at Fruition Capital, where I invest in small business M&A.
