Lead a team of Divisional Controllers and Analysts in establishing processes and standards for cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and performance management - Collaborates closely with the Global Operations team to dive into financial results and identify root causes and corrective actions to improve bottom line profit - Develops actionable plans to mitigate risks and capture opportunities across all areas of Operations, including Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations- Responsible for the development of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts for the Global Operations team- Responsible to lead all Divisions Cost Accounting team, standardize and coordinate team activities as annual standard cost rolls, development of labor and overhead rates and variance analysis- Closing of the books, preparation of the monthly financial statements and preparing management reports- Leads, trains, develops, and motivates staff to maintain a high level of employee commitment and competence for sustained and self-reliant performance and achievement of departmental and organizational goals- Primary point of contact for external auditors during the year-end audit for designated facility and prepares and/or reviews audit schedules- Liaises with other Divisional Controllers and the Corporate Accounting Group to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for and the results of the division are appropriately reflected in the consolidated financial statements- Identifies and leads strategic business initiatives to improve our accounting systems and harmonize our operational finance processes around the world - Works closely with the VP, Financial Planning and Analysis and VP, Controller to identify and implement enhancements to the Company’s internal control over financial reporting - Provides relevant accounting training to internal stakeholders
