I\'ve been writing a lot of press releases lately, which I pitch directly to journalists or distribute by PRNewsWire. I have a special rate for distribution with PRNewsWire because I do high volume, which I pass on to customers. One of my clients, started with me a year ago to promote her book.I \'ve written four releases for her over 2020. The last release in December 2020, received more than views and clicks to her website within a month. You can see all the stats from the in-depth report that PRNewsWire has on each project. It\'s actually amazing what they\'re able to accomplish. The client was going to look around because he thought I was expensive but soon realized the value I was offering was well worth it.The secret to writing a release is that you need to spend the time writing it. It\'s like everything else it boils down to a lot of hard work. You need to have a newsworthy angle to increase the chances that the release will be read.It starts with the most important feature, the headline. Often I can spend hours agonizing over it. The second most important feature is the lead of the story. Bottom line, I want to do a good job for clients.I\'ve also been doing some research for clients for their radio shows, podcasts or YouTube channels. I also write a lot of business and science based articles for clients.
