ABOUT MARIO SESSINI
After completing a PhD in particle physics with the CMS experiment at CERN, I chose to step away from academia to explore new fields where I could combine my passion for data and artificial intelligence. My experience in a world-leading research environment helped me thrive as a scientist, sharpen my Python and C++ skills, and develop strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. It also taught me how to collaborate on large-scale international projects.To facilitate my transition into data science, I completed a 9-week Data Science & AI bootcamp at Le Wagon Berlin. Today, I work as a data scientist, developing deep learning models to classify 3D LiDAR point clouds.My key strengths include critical thinking, problem solving, resilience, and adaptability.
