I am a dynamic & experienced music educator and accomplished saxophonist with more than 25 years of experience teaching and performing. I have worked with students of all ages across My career bridges the classroom and the stage, with a deep commitment to fostering a lifelong love of music in every student I teach.As an educator, I’ve worked with students K–12, University music majors, and adults beginning or reconnecting with musical instruction. My teaching spans general music, theory, analysis, improvisation,history, piano accompaniment, and ensemble direction (band, choir, jazz, and orchestra). I design and deliver standards-based, differentiated curricula aligned to State Curriculum Frameworks and Common Core, integrating innovative instructional strategies and technology to meet the needs of diverse learners.As a performer, I’ve sustained a nearly two-decade residency at Boston’s legendary Wally’s Café, where I led the Monday Night Blues series, mentored Berklee College musicians, and helped sustain a cornerstone of the city’s music scene. My career includes performances at world-renowned festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival and the Notodden Blues Festival (Norway), as well as tours in Ireland, Turkey, and across the U.S. I’ve shared the stage with legends including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, and Dave Matthews Band.At the core of my work—whether in the classroom, private studio, or on stage—is a belief in the power of music to inspire, connect, and transform.
