A dedicated HSE professional with a demonstrated ability to lead, influence and mentor across culturally diverse organizations. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I’ve demonstrated expertise in designing simultaneous Safety strategies at multi-site projects, implementing EHS Management Systems in Chile, and solving numerous operational challenges, while developing the Safety Culture across all levels of multi-cultural EPC Contractors and their sub-contractors. This has afforded me the opportunity to function in different capacities during my time with AES.Working at AES in the last 17 years, I have been a Safety Manger in the United States and an EHS Manager in Chile. I successfully executed simultaneous and multi-site projects, such as a Pulverized Coal Fire Power Plant Projects, Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Projects, High Voltage Transmission Lines Projects, Seawater Desalination Plants, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Projects.My current position is AES Global EHS Construction Manager, I am responsible of the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System - SMS and the EHS & S Plan for Renewable and Non-Renewable Construction Projects across the Company; with special focus in the safety culture and performance (Objectives, Goals, KPIs), AES EHS Standards compliance, and applicable EHS regulations.The Global EHS Construction Manager will be responsible to provide leadership and technical expertise for EHS programs and initiatives across the Construction Renewables and No-Renewable Projects of the company. Skilled in leading cross-functional and multi-cultural global teams, EHS program development and implementation, EHS risk assessment, EHS auditing, EHS data analysis, EHS Training, performance management, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. Specialist with the experience of managing full cycle of implementation, certification and maintenance.
