ABOUT MARIO J PORTILLO

I am an Operations Leader with focus on Project Management, Supply Chain and Lean/Operational Excellence. I believe my role as a leader is to create the spaces in which the organization and every individual can thrive and accomplish business goals.Throughout my career, I have been successful coaching and mentoring teams, to grow and become a self-directed, high performance team. This has allowed me to serve in diverse roles and undertake multiple projects.In addition to my responsibilities in Operations, Project Management, and Supply Chain, and earlier in Key Customer partnerships at Teva Pharm FL ( and predecessor companies), I was involved in a number of other initiatives, I championed the Employee Engagement effort, led the Operational Excellence rollout at the FL site and served in the board of South Florida Manufacturers Association (SFMA).Prior to my career in the Pharmaceutical Industry, I gained valuable experience and delivered solid results in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) at Clorox, Procter and Gamble and Samsonite throughout the Latin American region. I had progressive leadership roles in Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Customer Service, International Trade and Manufacturing Strategy.
