Software QA Engineer working with local and offshore team members to develop test frameworks, test structures, and test strategies, to ensure the quality and integrity of CenPOS applications. Part of my responsibilities are below: • Prepare, Execute and Report on the Product / Process Test Plan o Analyze User Stories, define traceability and scenarios. o Participate in test case creation using Jira/TestRail, Ready API, SoapUI and Selenium. o Ensure testing and records test results. Includes Progression, Regression, smoke / Sanity tests or other types of tests. o Assist development team with production support. o Review individual tasks according to needs of the Projects. • Defect Management - reporting and timely verification of fixes o Generate and follow up assigned Defect Reports using Jira and Rally. o Ensure that defects are followed up quickly by development and test resources alike. • Internal and External Communications and Relationships o Attend conf calls related to the project assignments, as well as Team calls and/ or meetings and actively participate. • Business Knowledge and focus on the customer o Learning the business processes and products. o Provide technical production support • Time Reporting and Project Management o Understands the relationship of work request and work times. o Maintains current status of Projects, Test Plans and Requirements. • Process Management o Developed Jira projects. o Create workflows, screen, issues, permission, field and notification schemas for the different projects. o Administrate Jira and pluggings to ensure the correct work pace of the teams.
