ABOUT MARIO BETIOLI

I am a registered Professional Engineer in QC Canada, graduated from UNICAMP Brazil, MSc Degree in Chemical Engineering, Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and PMP Certification. I have 10 years of experience in EPCM projects of industrial process plants for the oil & gas industry in Brazil and 3 years of experience in the commissioning of industrial equipment for PETROBRAS. From 2014 to 2016 I worked on a greenfield project for the food & agro industry in South America/Europe. From 2019 on I have been working on diverse types of engineering and construction projects, contributing to successful delivery of Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Industrial and Decarbonization projects across North America.Some of the skills developed during my career- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)- OIQ Member (Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec)- CREA Member (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Arquitetura do Brasil)- 10 years of experience in EPCM greenfield major projects (oil & gas downstream)- 03 years of experience in the commissioning of a new oil refinery (fired heaters)- 02 years of experience in the construction of a new food facility (dried peel/pectin plant)- Ease with Continuous Improvement tools and HSE standards- Interaction with the management team to ensure on-time and in-budget delivery of projects- Coordination of multidisciplinary engineering and procurement teams- Management of multidisciplinary projects in the Metals & Mining industry- Monitoring and control of engineering contracts- Monitoring and control of EPC construction companies- Ability of leadership and to provide innovative solutions- Ability to work in team and under pressure.
