I work to ensure frontline communities benefit from climate action -clean energy, healthy environments, and inclusive decision-making. I\'m passionate about co-creating solutions that center community voices, resilience, and equity.In 2020, I founded Explorando Senderos, a nonprofit initiative designed to reconnect Latinx families with nature through weekly guided hikes. By fostering direct experiences with the natural world, participants not only strengthen personal and community well-being, but also gain a deeper understanding of the environmental impacts affecting our planet. This reconnection with the land is essential, not only to witness the visible scars of climate change, but to cultivate the awareness and agency needed to become informed advocates for environmental resilience and justice.
