ABOUT MARINA DIAPOULIS-PAPPAS
I grew up by the sea in Athens, Greece, raised by a strong single mother who taught me love, resilience, and hard work. I carried those lessons with me when I moved to San Francisco with nothing but a suitcase and the determination to carve my own path.My career began in cancer care, where I saw firsthand that, in tough times, the people around us matter most. That experience shaped my approach to business—success isn’t just about numbers; it’s about people. Strong relationships, built on trust and shared goals, create opportunities far greater than what any one person can achieve alone. The right partnerships amplify value, drive success, and make a lasting impact. After building my career in California, I stepped away from the workforce when I moved to Pittsburgh to become a stay-at-home mom. While it saddened me to lose the sense of strength and purpose that came with working, I gradually realized the invaluable skills I was gaining—adaptability, problem-solving, and the ability to manage a million things at once. When I re-entered the workforce, I saw how those skills set me apart.Knowing it was time to reignite my career, I pursued an MBA at Johns Hopkins University—an experience that gave me an incredible push forward. The knowledge I gained became my greatest asset, empowering me to build and grow businesses with confidence. Because if there’s one thing no one can take from us, it’s knowledge. Now, as a Partner at iCRYO Wexford, I’m focused on building a business rooted in wellness, strategic growth, and a strong corporate culture. I believe success is built not just through individual effort, but through collaborations that elevate everyone involved—whether with employees, business partners, or the community.Beyond business, I’m also a mother—a role that constantly reminds me of the strength, adaptability, and leadership women bring to every part of life. And I’m deeply inspired by my husband, a physician who leads with empathy and integrity, reminding me daily of the power of kindness, listening, and making a meaningful impact. At the end of the day, success is about building something greater than yourself through strong teams, meaningful partnerships, and a shared vision. If you believe in fostering impactful collaborations and creating lasting value, let’s connect!
