ABOUT MARINA CINCIRIPINI

Always curious about contemporary art, architecture and highly interested into valorization practices of cultural and artistic heritage, Marina graduated in 2013 at Politecnico di Milano with a dissertation on the ethnographic study and enhancement of an ancient water mill.Since the beginning of her career she has been focused on the design of exhibitions, either temporary and permanent, taking care of all project aspects: from the concept generation to the technical documentation setup, as well as research and supervision of contractors.In 2012, she joined dotdotdot - interaction design practice - becoming part ofthe creative office as interior designer. During those five years of collaboration she conceived and designed exhibitions’ set-ups for several museums such as- MUSE - Trento- MUST Science and Technology Museum - Milan- Botanical Garden - Padua- Palazzo Reale - Milan- M9 in Mestre - VeniceIn 2017, she started her own practice focused on the designing of spaces for cultural institutions; in the same year she developed with Karmachina the set-up of a multimedia exhibition: “Capitani Coraggiosi” at MUDEC in Milan. Leveraging on her experience and organizational skills, she became project managerfor Hearst Magazine Italia coordinating special events and exhibitions. Being part of the operative team for all Elle Decor Grand Hotel editions and Milan Design week, she had the opportunity to collaborate with big design companies and international architecture studio.In 2019, she founded Studio Dune, focusing on the development of interior design projects, among the most recent: “Adoratorio’s offices” in Brescia, the multimedia exhibition “Monna Lisa Who?” realized with Karmachina at Santa Maria Gualtieri in Pavia and the upcoming exhibition: “Qhapaq Ñan, the great Inca’s road” at MUDEC - Museo delle Culture in Milan.
