About Mimi Brown
Mimi Brown is a Chicago-based writer, theatre professional, performer, and multimedia artist passionate about authentic storytelling and accessibility to the arts. She holds a BS in Film and Television with a minor in Theatre Arts from Boston University, where she discovered her love of sitcom writing. Her first pilot,\'Monday School,\' was staged as part of the Boston University School of Theatre’s Springboard Series in the Fall of 2024, then went onto the Catalyst Story Institute’s Catalyst Content Festival, where it was selected for Table Reads and awarded Best Student Script. Her second pilot,\'Audience Services,\' was filmed in the summer of 2025 and is currently in post-production! Now, Mimi is honing her craft as part of GOLD Comedy, a creative network and comedy school centering female and nonbinary voices. She also has an extensive background in visual art and graphic design, with experience spanning from NBCUniversal to the Boston Women’s Workforce Council.
