Public affairs leader advancing civic leadership, public policy engagement, and cross-sector partnerships connecting communities, government, and institutions.Civic leadership, public policy engagement, and cross-sector collaboration are central to Marilyn Cachola Lucey’s work advancing stronger connections between communities and the systems that shape opportunity—including education, public health, and democratic participation.Marilyn serves as Executive Director of Asian Pacific American Public Affairs (APAPA), a national nonprofit dedicated to developing civic leaders and expanding representation in public service. In this role, she oversees leadership development initiatives, strategic partnerships, and programs that create pathways for students and emerging leaders to engage in government, public policy, and community leadership.Her career spans advocacy, education, and coalition building.
