Equity Officer. Inaugural county-wide Equity Diversity Inclusion Program. Use developmental model to increase buy-in, cultural responsiveness and include Equity in governmental systems. Conduct assessment of gaps, needs, and interests of all departments.• Co-chair One Community Summit, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025• Chair Colorado EDIB Network• System creation and program development as the county’s first EDI FTE develop culturally responsive EDI model for all Employees across 20 Offices and Departments.• Executive and team coaching and consultation for all department leaders and teams, individual and team coaching, use of behavioral, cultural and intercultural assessments tools such as the IDI.• Evaluation, budget, and tool development created and trained staff on budget equity tool for 100 million+ Dollar American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program, tool used in all ARPA compliance, EDI developmental continuum model for all departments and offices. Supervised development of Equity Atlas and Language Justice Plan.• Developed and implemented EDI Continuum and Metrics to gain employee insight into the state of EDI and build strategic plan and track progress. • Built, implemented, and supported the first Affinity group structure in Jefferson County. • Developed, recruited and ran JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) Council worked with leaders to develop JEDI framework, recruit department representatives, train team members, set priorities and projects.• Organize Community IDEA Task Force recruited volunteer task force of community members to identify Community EDI focuses, set goals, objectives, and develop recommendations.• Wrote and taught EDI learning and development including communication skills, staff engagement, unconscious bias, and Equity Engagement.
