About Marijean Stephenson
I have been a Registered Nurse for nearly 20 years, and much of that time has been spent at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana in Indianapolis. I am skilled in providing patient care delivery for traumatic brain injuries, CVAs, orthopedic, multiple trauma, burns, neurological, oncology, spinal cord injuries, cardiac, wound care, and complex medical. After learning how nature and healing gardens at healthcare facilities can promote health and wellness, I decided to become a subject matter expert on their design and use. After extensive research, I had written an article on healing gardens that was featured in the June 2013 issue of Beginnings, a publication of the American Holistic Nurses Association. I am scheduled to be a presenter at the American Holistic Nurses Association’s 34th annual conference in Portland, Oregon June 4-7, 2014. I would be happy to network with anyone who shares my passion for nature, healing gardens or wellness in general.
