ABOUT MARIELLE ALI

Public Policy | International Affairs | Strategic Program ManagementI am an experienced international affairs professional with over a decade of leadership across diplomacy, public policy, and multilateral engagement. I most recently served at the UK Mission to the United Nations, where I lead strategic programs focused on conflict prevention, cyber and tech, human rights, and global security. With deep experience navigating government systems and intergovernmental processes, I specialize in turning complex challenges into actionable strategies that deliver measurable impact.Across my career, I have worked with global institutions—including the UN, UK Government, and civil society organizations on issues ranging from human rights to education and inclusive governance. I have managed multimillion-pound program funds, led cross-functional teams, briefed senior officials, and built coalitions across government, non-profits, and multilateral actors.Outside of formal roles, I actively serve on boards in New York City, including as a Member of the Panel for Educational Policy representing nearly 1 million public school students, Member of the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development Community Action Board. Previous roles include Chair of Housing and Human Services for Manhattan Community Board 12 and Chair of the National Council for UNA-USA, advocating for global cooperation and youth leadership.I’m passionate about public service, effective governance, and empowering diverse teams to create change at local and global levels. I bring strong skills in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, programme delivery, and organizational leadership. Let’s connect if you’re working at the intersection of diplomacy, public policy, or international development—or simply passionate about driving systemic change.
