ABOUT MARIELLA TANIGUCHI
I am a journalist, holding a bachelor degree from PUC-RS, one of Brazil’s most prestigious communication universities. I started my career in a newsroom, working at sections such as Art & Entertainment, Political and Economy at a local newspaper. After that, my transition led me to PR, where I found my true passion for corporate communication projects: image construction and reputation, crises management, relationship-building with journalists, opinion leaders and stakeholders. For 10 years I worked in a press office providing services for companies such as Deloitte, Monsanto, Aracruz Celulose, O Boticário, Miolo Wine Group and Braskem. In 2013, I ventured in exploring a new field as Digital PR at an ad agency, leading the brand relationship department responsible for the client’s interactions with its target audience in social network. Together, these experiences shaped me into a multifunctional professional, with a 360º view towards communication.
