Mariel Estigarribia is seasoned corporate, transactional and securities attorney whose experience of representing both publicly-traded and privately-held companies of all sizes in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and restructurings has earned her various distinctions and accolades in the legal community. In addition to her in depth M&A experience, Mariel routinely represents clients in negotiating, reviewing and drafting commercial agreements and leases; represents issuers and investors in transactions involving capital raises (debt and equity); assists clients with securities filings; drafts and negotiates executive compensation agreements, assists clients with Securities Exchange Act compliance and public company reporting; advises clients with respect to corporate governance matters and acts in the capacity of general counsel to many small to mid-size businesses in the region.In addition, Mariel has developed a niche in representing corporate clients who engage in government contracts and often assists them in the procurement process, obtaining special certifications, the establishment of incentive compensation plans, and negotiating subcontracts.
