About Mariela Ramirez Rodriguez
Current MBA candidate at Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance. My journey at FSU began through the CARE program made for first-generation students. During my time as an undergraduate student, I\'ve had the opportunity to serve on the executive boards of the Financial Management Association and the Afro-Latinx Student Association. I\'ve also interned and assisted with fundraising in Undergraduate Studies, where I learned the importance of private support and its impact on students like myself. Aside from my involvement at the university, I have had the opportunity to develop myself professionally in JPMorgan Chase\'s 10-week Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries Internship program during the summer of 2022 in Atlanta and the summer of 2023 in Miami. Through my internship experience, I\'ve found my interests in healthcare, higher education, and non-profit finance & banking. Following this experience, I gained more insight in higher education through my internship with the Florida Board of Governors, which runs the state university system in FL.
