ABOUT MARIE FORSBERG-MARE

A solution oriented business leader and social entrepreneur who always works to make a difference for people, businesses and society at large. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills enable me to quickly identify and prioritize areas to improve and find strategies to move forward. Integrity, Heart, Communication, Structure, Enthusiasm, Analytics, Trust, Strategy, Creativity, Commitment, and Results are key ingredients I bring to the table. To me there is no such thing as “mission impossible”, just a matter of time, efforts and resources. 15+ years as Product Manager/Director of Marketing & Sales within international corporations provided an extensive experience of representing interests of all stakeholders, while facilitating B2B investments and trade in the global arena. Diving into the market research industry deepened the knowledge and interest in gathering, analysing, and visualizing data. Leading projects to develop digital tools to measure employees’ psychosocial work environment and students’ learning environment resulted in determination to utilize my vast experience, knowledge, and global network to help people as well as businesses thrive. As a consultant, and also through my role at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC), I enjoy contributing to international trade, business, and cultural exchange. Always advocating for children and youth, being able to help students and young professionals thrive through SACC’s Talent Mobility program, and building bridges between people, cultures, and businesses is a humbling and rewarding experience. In 2015, I got the honor to co-found the charitable non-profit Together for Change dba Friends Colorado, with the dedication to deploy the Swedish organization Friends’ bullying prevention work in the U.S, and work for every child’s right to grow up in a safe, kind, and inclusive environment.
