ABOUT MARIE OJOFEITIMI
As a dedicated educator, I focus on promoting literacy and learning equity. With years of experience in secondary education and instructional design, I am passionate about creating inclusive learning environments that foster student engagement and success. My research centers on the narratives of Black women English teachers and the sociohistorical context that informs their experiences, with the goal of encouraging a more diverse and representative teaching force. I bring a unique perspective to professional development, specializing in differentiated instruction and collaboration strategies. I have also led workshops and designed training programs for educators, supporting them in building effective teaching practices. I collaborate with schools and administrators to implement impactful learning strategies, and I’m committed to helping teachers create meaningful connections with their students.
