ABOUT MARIE KLIMONTOVA
As a PhD student at Prof. Tony Kouzarides laboratory and STORM Therapeutics, I am exploring the potential of RNA modifying enzymes as novel targets for cancer therapy. I have developed and applied various molecular and cellular techniques to characterize the role and function of these enzymes in different cancer models. I have also collaborated with multiple researchers in this emerging field. Additionally, I am a Graduate Committee member at Cambridge Gravity, a platform that inspires and supports scientists to achieve their full potential in academia, industry, and entrepreneurship. I have also participated in the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre program, where I learned the fundamentals of business and innovation. Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
