ABOUT MARIE GARNER
Since graduating with a BSc Psychology degree in 2001 I have over 20 years experience in Welfare to Work, supporting people with learning, physical disabilities and long term health conditions to gain and sustain employment. Also supporting people on JSA on ESA to find and sustain employment. This includes the ability to market to employers, meet targets and tight deadlines as well as refer customer\'s to relevant support agencies and colleges to ensure they reach their ultimate goal. I have also been a quality assessor for paperwork ensuring it is completed to the highest standard. I have gained work related qualifications including PTLLS, Level 2 Mental Health Awareness and Level 3 Information Advice and Guidance.Currently a distance learning tutor in many Level 2 qualifications, these include mental health awareness, qualifications in the health and social care sector such as dementia care and end of life care, children’s mental health, understanding autism, customer service, business administration, IAG, learning difficulties and nutrition and health.
