Provide care for critically ill patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, pneumonia, DKA, subdural hematoma, stroke protocols, and other life-threatening conditions • Perform ventilator and tracheostomy care, inline suctioning, and administer intravenous, subcutaneous, oral, PEG, orogastric and nasogastric tube medications• Administer and titrate intravenous infections as well as manage pain relief or sedation requirements• Care for patients on ventilators, tracheostomies, telemetry monitoring, arterial line monitoring, peg tubes, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, orogastric tubes, Jackson-Pratt drains, and hemovac drains• Evaluate patients’ status for changes, vital signs, or laboratory data to determine emergency intervention needs• Perform emergency medical procedures, such as BLS or ACLS, and other condition stabilizing interventions
