ABOUT MARIE-CHRISTINE LALONDE

Currently a Design Manager at Kiewit, Marie-Christine Lalonde is responsible of leading various engineering work during delivery pursuits and projects through multidisciplinary coordination, estimating, scheduling, risk assessment and optimization. Marie-Christine is also the Structural Design Director of the Laval office at Kiewit, managing a team engineers and CAD technicians.Prior to joining Kiewit, Marie-Christine has worked as an Infrastructure Manager and developed a large experience as a Project Engineer and Structural Engineer specialized in bridges and civil engineering structures in major transportation projects.Marie-Christine has been involved in all stages of large-scale transportation projects carried out in alternative delivery methods, including private public partnerships (3P) and design-bid-build (DBB) and conventional projects. She possesses strong management skills and leadership that she acquired through a variety of projects in which she handled budget, schedule, management of subconsultants and coordination and communication with stakeholders. Marie-Christine also detains strong technical skills for bridge and engineering structure design and a variety of technical competence to manage multidisciplinary large and complex infrastructure projects. She has been involved in numerous projects from technical proposal, preliminary engineering and studies, plans and specifications, as well as design coordination.Marie-Christine’s experience is extensive in projects with the Ministry of Transportation of Quebec, CDPQ Infra, the Canadian National Railway and exo (formerly Réseau de Transport Métropolitain and Agence Métropolitaine de Transport).
