ABOUT MARIDES UYTIEPO

Hi i’m Marides! ‍🦋 University of California, Irvine alumni with a degree in Public Health Sciences and a minor in Sociology, specializing in Social Problems and Public Policy. Committed to addressing inequities with a focus on community engagement and education. Recent noteworthy experience with COVID-19 pandemic and health equity response efforts, with a strong background in project, program, and event management, outreach and education strategies, and coalition building. Motivated to foster inclusive, empathetic, supportive, and welcoming environments within organizations and greater community. I’m passionate about culture, community, mental health, visibility, social determinants of health, inclusion, social impact, and more! My professional goals have encompassed roles in the people and culture aspects of the sports and entertainment industry, which guided me to my current position at CAA. My aim is to drive positive social impact and contribute to fostering inclusivity on a global scale.🫶 Outside of work, you’ll find me traveling, playing tennis/racket sports, concert-going, beach reading, spending extra time with my loved ones, enjoying tv and music, and trying and learning new and random things (currently super into podcasts and learning pottery)! I love learning about different cultures, food, and languages, and getting involved with community.
