ABOUT MARICHU DUMAG

With 18 years of work experience in the healthcare sector, I am a passionate and skilled instructor and program manager with a mission to improve the quality of care for patients with complex heart conditions. I have a master\'s degree in healthcare administration and a certification as a family nurse practitioner, which enable me to understand and address the clinical and operational challenges of cardiac programs. I am currently an instructor at Oregon Health & Science University, where I manage patients and mentor students in the Complex Heart Valve Program. I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. Previously, I was the CardioCare Program Manager and Director of Client Success at Edwards Lifesciences, where I implemented and advised on clinical aspects of quality initiatives for various types of institutions using CardioCare and related concepts. I trained and educated nurse navigators and key hospital stakeholders on best practices and tools for improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. I also communicated program results, supported sales teams, and collaborated with software development team as a subject matter expert.
