I know firsthand. I grew up in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Venezuela, where power outages were frequent and food was scarce. I remember studying by candlelight, wondering if there was more for someone like me.There was.In my community, the people who worked in Oil & Gas lived differently. That planted a seed. I threw myself into education, gymnastics, and my faith—anything that could move me forward. I earned an engineering degree, and by 2003, developed a patent using nanotechnology to reduce friction in drilling fluids and cut power usage. That passion for solving real-world energy problems led me to Chevron.Today, I serve as a & , advising senior executives and business unit presidents on how to shape multi-billion-dollar portfolios across traditional Oil & Gas and the energy transition. Over two decades, I’ve helped drive value, innovation, and sustainable growth across global operations—including in Africa, Brazil, Australia, and the U.S: bridging complex technical, financial, and policy insights to deliver peer-leading business outcomes: • Developed and led implementation of an Integrated Performance System to manage a $5B+ competitive performance portfolio—now adopted as the enterprise standard• Led initiative to evaluate commercial midstream agreements and P&L impacts that accelerated value capture of $100M+ in 2025 and $350M+ over the 5-year plan• (2024) • (2018)• () & (2013).Because for me, energy isn’t just a career.
