About Maricel Goris

With over 15 years of experience in educational administration and supervision, I am a passionate and results-oriented leader who strives to advance equity and excellence for all students and staff in public school districts. I currently serve as the Deputy Superintendent at Lynn Public Schools, where I oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives and policies that support the district\'s vision and mission. My core competencies include program design, organizational strategy, racial justice, and stakeholder engagement. I have successfully scaled and enhanced programs that promote academic achievement, cultural proficiency, and social-emotional learning for diverse student populations, including launching Boston Green Academy, enhancing the METCO program at Newton Public Schools and implementing change initiatives at Lawrence Public Schools. I have also built and led effective teams that foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability across all levels of the organization. My goal is to create and sustain a positive and inclusive learning environments that empowers students, families, and educators to thrive.
