   What gets me up in the morning is the opportunity to create something new, especially when it means investing in people’s growth. Whether I’m launching a development program, designing an engaging orientation experience, or building tools that help us measure impact, I’m energized by the chance to connect employees to their purpose and help them contribute meaningfully to the organization.In my current role, I lead enterprise-wide Talent Management strategies to support OFG Bancorp’s growth and transformation. From Performance Management to Leadership Development, Succession Planning and Skills-Based programs, I oversee programs that are designed to evolve our culture and strengthen our leadership pipeline.Two of my proudest initiatives has been the deployment of a virtual learning library, an accessible, scalable tool that empowers employees at all levels to own their development, and the creation of a Data-Driven Program. Both initiatives embedded metrics and feedback loops in different stages, to continuously refine our approach and prove the value of our efforts. Every time I lead an orientation session, I see it as an opportunity to set the tone, connect people to our values, and help them see how their individual goals align with our broader mission. In my current role, I collaborate closely with senior leaders to design and implement data-driven performance systems, comprehensive talent reviews, and strategic succession plans that prepare our workforce for future challenges. Recognizing the importance of innovation, I championed the integration of AI tools within our team. This initiative not only enhanced team efficiency but also optimized budget by reducing operational spending. This proactive approach effectively addressed increased workload challenges and prepared us for sustained success.Ultimately, I see myself as both a builder and a coach, someone who delivers outcomes, but also inspires people to see what’s possible for themselves.
