ABOUT MARIBETH WICOFF
I was a special education teacher in the School District of Philadelphia for six years. During this time, I realized that there was a missing connection between schools, communities, and medical providers. This prompted me to return to graduate school to pursue opportunities to effectively support the whole child. I received my Ph.D. in Pediatric School Psychology from East Carolina University in July 2018. I completed my internship at MetroHealth Medical Center and my fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center. I am a licensed psychologist. I worked at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in primary care sites where I did same-day behavioral health consultations when patients come to see their pediatricians to increase access to care, collaborate with schools to address student needs and see families for brief, solution-focused therapy to address behavioral health needs.
