ABOUT MARIA VERONICA SILVESTRI
I’m bilingual (English/Spanish) with a Bachelor’s from Cornell University in Public Health and Education, and a Master’s from CUNY in Developmental Psychology. I have a background in community engagement/outreach, project management, and education. I\'m currently an Associate Teacher at KIPP AMP Middle School.I’ve worked on projects that range from IRB-approved nutrition research in the Dominican Republic to grassroots outreach with migrant communities in New York. I’ve also done SEO and content strategy work for e-commerce sites, helping improve web traffic, keyword rankings, and user experience.I enjoy work that sits at the intersection of health, education, and culture. I love collaborative environments (remote or in-person), and I care deeply about supporting learners through programs that are culturally-responsive and community-centered.
