Charles River is an early-stage contract research organization (CRO). It is built upon foundation of laboratory animal medicine and science to develop a diverse portfolio of discovery and safety assessment services, both Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and non-GLP, to support clients from target identification through preclinical development.In this role I manage study project for the formulation department. Close collaboration with internal departments to coordinate accurate scheduling of formulation preparation and deliveries to in-vivo lab, sample shipments, test article receipt. Create formulation batch records/mix instructions, program Dispense software systems for formulation preparations. Inventory management, order of necessary project supply. Quality Control of data during and post-study. Write and assess deviations and answer study audits. Interact closely with Study Directors and Sponsors. Assist with protocol development. Perform test article calculation need for projects and formulation calculations. Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA). Attend Project meetings internally and with Sponsors. Micro scheduling of formulation lab activities. Observe and oversee formulation preparations. Mentor and supervise lab technicians. Provide study specific training. Trouble shooting issues that arise. Work closely with others to meet study and company goals and expectations.
