Hi, I’m Maria I’m a marketing and e-commerce leader with 10+ years of experience growing non-profit and consumer brands through strategy, storytelling, and data-driven execution.I currently lead marketing for Badass Animal Rescue, where I oversee brand, digital marketing, email, social media, events, partnerships, and merchandise, driving both awareness and fundraising for a fast-growing nonprofit. From on-the-ground rescue missions to full-funnel campaigns, I’m deeply involved in turning engagement into real-world impact.In parallel, I’ve led U.S. digital marketing and e-commerce for Maison Demarle, managing the Silpat® and Flexipan® brands. My work spans Shopify optimization, email marketing, paid media, SEO, influencer partnerships, product launches, promotions, and customer experience: balancing brand integrity with conversion and revenue growth. I specialize in building scalable marketing systems while staying hands-on where it counts.Across both nonprofit and consumer brands, I thrive at the intersection of brand + performance: developing campaigns that connect emotionally, convert efficiently, and grow sustainably. I’m especially strong in early-to-growth-stage environments where scrappiness, ownership, and cross-functional leadership matter.Outside of work, I’m a passionate runner training for my fifth marathon (and fourth NYC Marathon).
