Combining my engineering and bioinformatics skills I am driving the generation of bioinformatics pipelines in Nextflow to automate and speed up our target discovery workflows. Since joining the company I have improved the efficiency of the pipelines supporting our external facing product from 2 days to 3 hours ensuring speedy delivery to our external collaborators. I have also initiated and led the establishment of best practices in data harmonization now applied across our entire team. Currently I am leading the strategy for incorporating multiple external data onto our external facing product to enhance our capabilities.

Experienced drug discovery scientist with more than ten years of experience in cancer research in various tissues and 3D models and a computational data analytics and ML skill set I am combining my diverse combination of expertise at my current role as a Senior Bioinformatician. Working closely with lab scientists, I am applying my drug discovery knowledge to help identify targets that have high potential for clinical applications in the context of liver diseases. Recognising the speed of technological evolution in biomedicine I am participating in conferences and workshops to ensure my skills remain up to date. Understanding the importance of communicating science I have also been involved in the organization of different symposia for younger students and non-scientists in all stages of my career.
