About Marian Peters

I obtained my B.S. in Geosciences with a minor in Geophysics in May 2015 from The Pennsylvania State University.I have 2.5 years of lab experience working in a geomicrobiology lab with anaerobic, sulfur-metabolizing, Archean bacteria and analyzing the associated sulfur isotope fractionation. I am presently working as a Team Lead of Static Advanced Testing in the Geotechnical Lab @ FUGRO and have experience performing various index and static tests including the specialized Pipeline-Soil Interface direct shear testing.In my spare time I like to brush up on my GIS knowledge and skills through open ESRI courses and other sources, as well as practice coding languages such as Python and SQLCURRENTLYMaster of Geoscience Student at Texas A&M with a focus on Petroleum Data SciencePreparing to take the FG (Fundamentals of Geology) and PG (Practice of Geology) ASBOG exams and obtaining my PG License—BACHELOR OF SCIENCE THESIS RESEARCHAnalysis of the sulfur isotope fractionation during sulfate reduction by Archean, sulfur-metabolizing bacteria: Archaeoglobus Fulgidus, Lithotrophicus, and Profundus.
