ABOUT MARIANO CLERICI GUERRICO
As a global leader in subsurface diagnostics, I currently manage and direct a network of 9 advanced laboratories located across strategic regions worldwide. I lead a multidisciplinary technical team that delivers high-value chemical tracer services for the oil & gas, CCS, CCUS, and geothermal sectors, supporting clients on both onshore and offshore developments. My scope covers the entire tracer value chain — from single-well chemical tracer tests to complex interwell tracer programs, inflow tracers, and frac tracer studies for enhanced reservoir understanding and production optimization. I work closely with major operators on carbon capture projects, ensuring robust monitoring and verification, as well as on cutting-edge geothermal initiatives where innovative tracer applications unlock new efficiencies and insights.A key part of my leadership has been transforming how we operate: • Dramatically reducing costs and optimizing operational expenditure through lean team structures and strategic process improvements. • Accelerating turnaround times for laboratory analyses and technical reporting to deliver faster, actionable insights for clients. • Driving the development and deployment of new proprietary software tools that automate data workflows, enhance interpretation, and support client decision-making. • Personally reviewing and steering technically complex projects to ensure the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. My goal is to keep the organization agile, cost-effective, and technically at the forefront, positioning our team as trusted partners in solving today’s most demanding subsurface challenges — from tight unconventional plays to next-generation CCS, CCUS and geothermal projects.
