The position of Law Clerk, Senior Litigation Specialist places a demand on the incumbent to research and understand law case-law, precedents within case law, secondary legal sources and crucially stay abreast and comprehend fully the implications of changes within law, particularly as they relate toactive cases in the firm. Equally, conduct research on administrative law, secondary sources, legislative history as well as international law. This position also serves as client liaison from retention to trial stages, now handled electronically and under the special rules of every judicial/administrative part, rules targeting electronic filings, new service requirements, judge’s virtual courtrooms, witnesses’ presentation and others. Drafting of legal documents that will be reviewed for submission to both State and Federal Courts.
