Serve as the liaison between employers/ talent acquisition specialists/ owners to the Commonwealth of Massachusett’s Business Services.• Visit local businesses and make presentations on MassHire Lowell Career Center services.• Providing personalized customer service and knowledgeable direction to employers to the varied resources for meeting their business needs.• Assist local businesses with their recruiting needs through multiple methods including posting jobs to the state’s database of job openings “JobQuest”.• Recruit candidates from unique populations including the unemployed, the Veterans, those with limited English proficiency, formerly incarcerated, without transportation or licenses, those without experience and those with a disability.• Writer of effective emails to many audiences marketing the Center’s services to community-based organizations, libraries and other career centers.• Aid local businesses in obtaining access to state grants for safety training, skills enhancement, on-the-job training programs and apprenticeships.• Partner with various organizations and state agencies including MA Rehabilitation Commission, DTA and the Abisi Adult Education Center• Responsible for entry of Massachusetts One-Stop Employment System (MOSES) employer services data and monthly reporting of services• Organize and coordinate regional job fairs, recruiting events and related business events.• Co-develops marketing materials for job fairs, recruiting events and guest speakers.
