I lead the banking knowledge function for CMS, responsible for leading English law know-how for all transactional banking teams in CMS (UK, CEE, UAE, HK and SG), primarily for the Real Estate Finance, Corporate and Acquisition Finance, Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance teams, but also supporting the Capital Markets and Derivatives, Financial Services and Restructuring and Insolvency teams. Having the benefit of a long client facing transactional career, firstly in commercial property (20••••10) and then as a senior associate retraining in banking and specialising in real estate finance (20••••19), I know well the real knowledge support fee earners need in order to thrive. My objective is to help our lawyers succeed in effectively managing their own transactions, empowering them with top training, technical knowledge and excellent resources and precedents.
