ABOUT MARIANNE GUBRI

Marianne Gubri, harpist, composer, therapeutic musician, researcher in musicology and music therapy, speaker, writer and lecturer combines an original and unique musical journey with a quest for personal development. She studied the Celtic harp in Brittany at an early age before turning to the ancient harp in Italy, and now travels the world with her musical projects. She performs in numerous concerts and international tours in Italy, France, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Holland, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, USA, Dubai, China, India, Egypt with repertoires of traditional, Celtic, modern and ancient music and now mainly performs her own compositions. She has published more than 10 albums, a book on historical music therapy Una melodia per l\'aere luminoso (OM edizioni) and several courses on harp teaching. Director of the harp school Arpeggi, and of the Bologna Harp Festival, she speaks at numerous conferences, TEDx, international courses, Conservatories and Universities. A graduate in the United States in therapeutic music with IHTP and in VAHT vibroacoustics, she is the Director of International Harp Therapy Program for France and Italy and organises numerous seminars and events on harmonisation, resonance and well-being through sound. She accompanies her concerts with readings, sharing, meditations and artistic research that take the audience into a wonderful inner world, beyond the threshold of appearances. She combines her concerts with conferences, seminars, book presentations and sound healing experiences. She has produced numerous shows combining different languages such as literature, theatre, art, dance, video and integrating research with an appreciation of female creativity and spirituality.
