ABOUT MARIANNE DELATORRE

Experienced public affairs professional skilled at developing strategic communications and community engagement frameworks across public/private sectors that effectively reach diverse populations. I help create and distribute incredible resources all around, in addition to empowering military caregivers and making sure they have a seat at the table. An equity-minded collaborator, I oversee partnerships with cities, counties, and states to advance advocacy campaigns, coalitions, initiatives, and local policymaking championing robust caregiver support. I am the content strategist and lead moderator of the Hidden Heroes Caregiver Community, an amazing online peer support community for military caregivers. I am also proud to be a caregiver for my Navy veteran mother. National City/San Diego County is home. Outside of work, I am invested in supporting meaningful Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) representation and building leadership pipelines for the next generation.
