As a Board-Certified Intensivist and Internist turned Global Digital Health Executive, I translate deep clinical expertise into scaled digital health strategy and execution. My career trajectory is defined by pioneering the development and adoption of digital health technologies across diverse global health ecosystems. I now operate at the critical intersection of clinical rigor and technology development and deployment as the Staff Clinical Lead for Gemini App, Platforms & Devices at Google. In this role, I lead billion-user initiatives by translating complex health data into user-facing products and scaling clinical relevance across Google\'s portfolio.Previously, as the Director for Innovation and Digital Health for a top Latin American hospital network (Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz), I built a multiprofessional department that was recognized as the Best Innovation department among Brazilian Healthcare Institutions (Istoé Dinheiro 2021). This success led to a strategic partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Health, directly shaping their national digital health strategy for the 20••••28 period (PROADI-SUS).My career trajectory also includes nearly five years as the first physician and subject matter expert for IBM Watson Health in Latin America. In this foundational role, I was instrumental in driving the adoption of AI-powered solutions across payers, providers, big pharma, and government throughout LATAM. My contributions spanned pre-sales, post-sales delivery and success management, as well as clinical evidence support across the region. I was recognized for this work as one of the 10 most transformative IBMers by IBM Brazil (2019) and served on the Global Clinical Council and Technology Leadership Council.I am a sough-after keynote speaker and strategic advisor on Digital Health and Healthcare Innovation in LATAM, with clients including Bayer, Pfizer, Roche, Novartis, Abbott Boehringer Ingelheim, Janssen, Gilead, Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, BMS, BD and Strattner. I have delivered TEDx talks (2018, 2019) and spoken at major international conferences such as HLTH, SXSW, and Hospitalar. My public profile and insights have been featured in top-tier media in Brazil (e.g, MIT Technology Review, Folha de São Paulo, Estadão, Valor Econômico, Veja Saúde), placing my LinkedIn SSI in the top 1% of healthcare profiles in Brazil.I also dedicate time to fostering the next generation of innovators as a startup mentor since 2015, a peer reviewer for digital health journals (e.g. JMIR) and a career mentor.
