About Mariana Zindel
Mariana Zindel is a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Yount Parthenon. She recently graduated with a dual master\'s in business and master\'s in public health from Emory University. Prior to graduate school, she was an associate at The World Bank, focused on improving countries\' pandemic preparedness capacities. Before joining The World Bank, she was a marketing and communications specialist at a software consulting company, honing her skills in digital marketing, content creation, and creative storytelling. Prior to that, she was an Associate Program Officer at the National Academy of Medicine, co-directing an award-winning team to improve clinician well-being, and supporting a multi-year collaborative effort to advance health equity in the United States. Mariana has held multiple positions with the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM). In her time at NASEM, Mariana’s roles have involved implementing $8M+ grants, strategic planning, creative thinking, problem-solving, external partnership building, event planning, and cross-team collaboration. She has done this through compassionate leadership, integrity, authenticity, and a commitment to valuing the contributions of all team members. Mariana is also fascinated by cognitive and behavioral sciences and has experience conducting research in those fields for nonprofits, domestically and internationally. Mariana shares her passion for human rights and equality by participating in equity trainings focused on intersectionality, elevating issues in the criminal justice system, improving the educational attainment of girls in under-resourced areas, publishing studies to support children with developmental delays and disabilities, and utilizing her multi-lingual fluency to improve access to resources and services for Spanish-speakers.
