About Mariana Lavezzo

I found my passion to focus on the planning and design of schools when I began working on schools internationally 16 years ago learning about different pedagogies and cultures, acting as a cross pollinator of school communities’ ideas to support transformation for the future. I am a passionate advocate for active outdoor learning spaces; a collaborative, inclusive design process; and the importance of making students the center of the design process. I am based in Multistudio’s San Francisco office and will work closely with our California team as well as with our Kansas City colleagues, including Dr. Michael Ralph, Director of Education, and David Reid, who leads our Education Design practice. Multistudio uses a research-driven and multidisciplinary approach to designing schools that not only inspire learning but also support teacher wellness and community well-being.
