Responsible for overseeing the continuous and efficient operation of all building systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities: • Ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure, including air handling units (AHUs), energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), domestic water systems, and electrical distribution networks.• Optimize BAS (Building Automation Systems) to improve energy efficiency and ensure peak performance of mechanical and electrical systems.• Develop and execute long-term decarbonization strategies and deep energy retrofits.• Oversee HVAC optimization to reduce energy consumption and meet carbon reduction targets such as the implementation of fan VFDs and HVAC AI.• Inform 10 year Capital Plan and manage end-to-end capital improvement projects, from scope development and RFP preparation to contractor selection, execution, and closeout.• Ensure all building operations comply with applicable codes and standards, including ASHRAE 62.1 (ventilation) and ASHRAE 90.1 (energy efficiency)• Serve as a liaison between engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and property management to align operational objectives with business goals.• Develop and manage operations budgets, ensuring cost control and efficiency in asset management.• Achieve and maintain green building certifications (LEED, BOMA BEST, WELL).• Manage service contracts and vendor KPIs.
