ABOUT MARIANA HUNT
As a bilingual mortgage lender at Union Bank & Trust, I take pride in helping families achieve their dreams of home ownership. Spanish is my first language, and I understand the unique challenge that come with navigating the mortgage process as an immigrant. Growing up, I was often the interpreter for my family - a daunting responsibility, especially when critical matters were at stake. When I was in middle school, my parents brought me along to help them secure a mortgage loan for our family\'s home in the U.S. To my relief, the bank had a mortgage lender who was a native Spanish speaker. This not only lifted a massive weight off my shoulders, but it also inspired my career path and made my family\'s dream of home ownership a reality. I’ve never stopped reflecting on this transformative moment. I started my banking career in customer service and gradually transitioned into my current role of mortgage lender. Now I help families like my own overcome the often intimidating and stressful challenges of the loan process. My husband Tyler and I met working at the bank, and we both love to travel. The center of our world are our two sons. We are also parents to our cranky Shitzu-Maltese, Mia, who secretly also adores her human brothers. In my spare time, I love completing DIY home projects, armed with my trusty mitre saw and the philosophy of \"measure ten times; cut once.\" It\'s a great creative outlet, and also a way for me to transform our home into unique spaces where my family\'s memories are made. I love making the journey to homeownership a seamless and enjoyable experience for all my clients.
