ABOUT MARIANA CERVONE

Having grown up between Portugal and Qatar, I graduated from the American School of Doha before moving to The Netherlands to complete my LLB in International European Law in The Hague University of Applied Sciences. During my bachelors, I had the opportunity to go abroad to The London School of Economics and undertake an internship at Optimy in Brussels where I worked as an in-house lawyer reviewing and drafting legal documents. Following this internship I completed my thesis in collaboration with the O\'Neill Institute at Georgetown University where I analysed and compared Brazil and Portugal\'s compliance with international law during the COVID-19 pandemic. After completing my LLB, I started working part-time at Amurabi (remotely) as I am also undertaking an LLM in International Commercial Law at City St. George\'s University of London, due to graduate in January 2026. This internship comes to an end in June 2025, after 7 months and I am actively looking for a part-time job in the legal field, to work alongside my studies. Once graduated I intend on working full-time in London.
