ABOUT MARIANA STANG

Mariana has a bachelor\'s degree in Forest Engineering from the State University of Santa Catarina. Continued her studies at the Federal University of Paraná, where she obtained her Master\'s Degree in Forestry Sciences with an emphasis on Operational Research for Forest Management with the support of the forestry company Arauco. Dedicated a large part of her graduation to projects and internships in the areas of Environmental Education, Geographic Information Systems, Forest Inventory, and Environment Conservation and experienced a semester exchange in the United States working with natural resources management. Career commenced in 2016 in Brazil working in studies of Native Forest suppression, Forest Inventory of Natural and Planted Forests, and as an Analyst of Tactical Planning of Forest Operations at Fibria Celulose. In Portugal, she worked as a researcher at INESCTEC in the analysis and characterization of the Biomass Supply Chain and as a researcher at RAIZ / The Navigator Company with Forest Inventory, Ecosystem Services, Remote Sensing, and Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS). She currently lives in Munich, Germany, working as a Partner Manager at OroraTech, which has developed a Satellite-Based Wildfire Prevention, Early Detection, and Monitoring Solution. She is a committed and self-initiative professional, with the capacity for planning, organization, and fulfillment of objectives in addition to her personal and professional drive for sustainable development. m••••••••@gmail.com
